This is a temporary, full-time position covering a leave of absence, anticipated to begin July 6, 2026 and end December 4, 2026. Dates are subject to change based on business needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement of four days remote and one day onsite at our Sorrento Valley office in San Diego. With this hybrid setup, applicants must be within commuting distance of our corporate office in the Sorrento Valley area.

The Temporary Full Lifecycle Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in attracting and hiring top talent by managing the recruitment process from intake through hire. This role partners closely with hiring managers, builds strong candidate pipelines, and ensures a positive and compliant hiring experience.

Full Lifecycle Recruiting
- Manage open requisitions from intake through hire
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews
- Coordinate and support interview processes
Hiring Manager Partnership
- Conduct intake meetings to understand hiring needs
- Provide guidance on candidate selection and best practices
- Gather and synthesize interview feedback
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Source passive candidates through multiple channels
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines
- Leverage job boards, social media, and professional networks
Offer & Compliance Support
- Prepare and manage offer letters and negotiations
- Coordinate background checks and hiring clearance
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies and employment laws

Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- College Degree preferred.
- Sourcing or Recruiting Certifications a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience required, including hands-on experience in conducting intake meetings, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, collecting feedback, processing offers, and managing the background check and onboarding processes.
- Proven ability to handle multiple requisitions simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience providing strategic guidance to hiring managers on candidate selection and recruiting best practices.
- Extensive experience in sourcing passive candidates through various channels, including social media platforms, professional networks, industry events, and direct outreach, to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Experience in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. Experience using Workday preferred.
- Familiarity with various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
- Experience working for a recruiting or staffing agency or corporate recruiting department.
- Experience conducting structured interviews and assessing qualifications.
- Experience in conducting background checks and drug screens, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Experience with multi-state recruiting strongly preferred.
- Experience within the Multifamily industry a plus.

Estimated Rate of Pay:
$34.41 - $38.48
This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.
The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity - . Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:

- Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price. Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
